The Regent Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 7 is gained in just 36 weeks after completing the New Zealand Diploma of Business (or equivalent). It is at the same level as a Bachelor Degree.
The course aims to develop a broad base of management, marketing and finance knowledge and skills which will enable students to enter into the business world with an advanced level of practical skills or undertake further study at university in their chosen discipline.
Entry Requirements:
o Available to graduates of the NZ Diploma in Business or National Diploma in Business or equivalent.
o IELTS 6.0 or equivalent or sit Regent’s English Entry Test.
You will study:
Marketing: Operations; Marketing Research.
Management: Business Relationships, Strategy, Business Development, Quality.
Finance: Budgeting.
Graduates will be able to demonstrate:
o understanding of a broad knowledge base incorporating theoretical business concepts;
o analysis and planning to approach business and management problems;
o apply theoretical concepts with technical and creative skills to a range of situations;
o evaluate information and use it in forecasting for planning or research purposes;
o take responsibility for their own outputs in relation to broad quantity and quality parameters;
o and take some responsibility for the achievement of group outcomes.

Award of the Qualification:
On successful completion of the 121 credits programme, students are awarded the Regent Diploma in Business (Advanced) Level 7 with the Logo of the NZ Qualifications Authority.
Graduates will be able to:
o use their skills and knowledge to commence their career in industry or to apply to proceed to advanced study at university.
o apply for a 12 months open work permit.
Time to Complete:
The programme is completed in three Semesters of 12 weeks.
