UK Visa application scam exposed
We are aware of a Scam in which the name of the former Permanent Secretary at the Home Office , Sir David Normington, (who is the First Civil Service Commissioner and Commissioner for Public Appointment) has been used to allegedly sponsor or lend credibility to entery clearance and visa applications.
Entry clearance applicants should be aware that Sir David does not provide support of this nature, nor does he have any connection with anyone who claims that he is a sponsor.
Changes for Tier 4 (General) visas

English Language Test mandatory for Tier 4 Student Visa
Mandatory secure English language testing came into effect on the 12 August 2010 for student Tier 4 (General) visa applicants wishing to study a course below degree level (excluding foundation degrees). Students applying for these courses will need to demonstrate, through an approved test, that they have the required level of English language competence to apply to study in the UK. The requirement to take a test will not apply to English language courses.

16 illegal migrants found in truck with £1million Aston Martin racing car
UK Border Agency officers working in Calais have stopped 16 illegal migrants from entering the UK.
They were hiding in a British-registered lorry which contained a £1 million Aston Martin racing car. The lorry was stopped on 24 May after officers spotted a side door which looked as if it had been forced open.
